Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
PTA members are a group of parent volunteers nominated by parents in each grade class to support HCAS and give formidable suggestions and feedbacks on issues that will be discussed at our monthly meetings with school administrators. It is a channel and a bridge between parents and school. As described by Horace Mann, individuals organized in voluntary associations, just as our education should be taught by the spirit, methods, and discipline of a free society. Currently, HCAS parent representatives from all grades meet once monthly with administrators and teachers.
HCAS stakeholders include the Board of Trustees, parents, teachers, students, administrators, faculty, the greater Zhubei community, and staff. Important functions of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) include streamlining communication between parents and our school, supporting school activities, providing input on school decisions to administrators, and supporting our school at all times.
